My style is engaged, collaborative and practical. One of the most important aspects of effective therapy is a relationship where you feel accepted and supported. Together we will explore feelings, discuss choices, and practice behaviors to access and strengthen your inner resources, and reduce problems that impede change. Therapy can help you feel better, more at peace and better equipped to deal with life.

I offer a blend of approaches to psychotherapy that I have used and studied. I am strongly influenced by current neurobiological research that promotes the brain’s resilience and supports the importance of the relationship in our ability to manage and feel our feelings.

I am certified in Accelerated Emotional Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and have training in and am influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, mindfulness and many years of dedicated yoga practice.
